HomeDefence Powerkit.50 is an export valve upgrade kit for HDR50 – 13J Version GEN.2, designed to increase CO₂ flow and raise output to 20J+ under suitable conditions. The solution is made as plug & play for this specific version.
The manufacturer describes the tuning as a combination of a longer valve opening time and a larger gas volume per shot. The key element is a valve pin with a hexagonal bore (2.5 mm) that supports CO₂ expansion, plus a valve with an expanded port to 1.5 mm for higher flow.
This leads to a clear change in behavior: more energy, but also fewer shots per CO₂ capsule. The manufacturer also mentions a reduced cool-down effect in shot strings. Output is temperature dependent – CO₂ platforms react differently based on conditions.
