Winchester XPR Composite Battue Threaded 30-06Spr is a practical bolt-action hunting rifle built for real driven hunts – fast shots at moving game in dense cover and tough weather conditions. Compact, easy to shoulder and equipped with open sights and a threaded barrel, it is a workhorse for modern hunters.

The rifle features a three-lug bolt locking into a solid steel receiver for secure lock-up and reliable handling of the .30-06 Springfield cartridge. The detachable magazine holds 3+1 rounds, giving enough capacity for driven hunts while still keeping the rifle slim and well-balanced.

The barrel is approximately 530 mm (21") long with a hunting profile and a 1:10" twist, suitable for the most popular .30-06 bullet weights. The robust Permacote finish protects the metal against rust and scratches when hunting in rain, snow, mud or dense forest. A M14x1 threaded muzzle allows you to fit a muzzle brake or suppressor where legally permitted.

The stock and fore-end are made from black composite, resistant to moisture, temperature changes and everyday knocks in the field. The ambidextrous design works well for right- and left-handed shooters, while the Inflex I recoil pad helps to tame recoil and keep the rifle firmly in the shoulder during fast follow-up shots.

Sights are optimised for driven hunts – a battue-style rear sight combined with an LPA fibre optic front sight that can be easily adjusted with an Allen key. This bright front dot is easy to pick up at dusk, in fog or in dark woodland. The rifle is also compatible with the Kite Optics K1 Reflex red dot sight for even faster target acquisition.

The MOA Trigger System offers a clean, predictable break with minimal take-up and overtravel, helping you to squeeze the trigger precisely when the sight picture is perfect. A two-position safety with a separate bolt unlock button allows you to load and unload the rifle safely while the safety remains engaged – ideal when moving with other hunters during a driven hunt.

Driven wild boar and deer: The short barrel, open sights and secure bolt action make the XPR Composite Battue a very capable rifle for fast shots in dense woodland and narrow shooting lanes.
