PARD Pantera eX 640 50mm LRF – thermal scope with NETD ≤14 mK and 2560×2560 circular OLED

Pantera eX 640 is built for hunters who want maximum image clarity, accurate ranging, and fast glove-friendly operation. The combination of VOx 640×512 / 12 μm, NETD ≤14 mK, 50 Hz and a 2560×2560 circular OLED delivers strong detail and stable target recognition in fog, cold, and wet conditions.

1) Key advantages (straight to the point)
  • NETD ≤14 mK – ultra sensitivity for subtle temperature differences and sharper edges.
  • 2560×2560 circular OLED – ultra-clear image and comfort during long observation.
  • Built-in LRF (LRF version) – ranging directly from the scope.
  • 50 mm objective + 3.7× optical + 2/4/6/8× digital – balanced FOV and detail.
  • PIP – 2× magnified center while keeping full field of view.
  • Hot Track – marks and tracks the hottest point in the scene.
  • Recoil/Self-activated recording – recoil video capture and saving to the card.
  • Dual battery – built-in 21700 + removable 18650, runtime up to ≤8 h.
  • IP67 + 6000 J recoil – ready for harsh conditions and powerful calibers.
2) Sensor & image: 640×512 VOx + NETD ≤14 mK + 50 Hz

Pantera eX 640 uses an uncooled VOx (vanadium oxide) sensor with 640×512 resolution, 12 μm pixel pitch, NETD ≤14 mK sensitivity and 50 Hz refresh rate. The benefit is strongest when the target blends into the background – clearer shape, sharper outlines, and more confident detail recognition.

3) 2560×2560 circular OLED: clarity, depth, reduced eye strain

The 2560×2560 circular display provides a dense, clean image and excellent readability of the reticle and on-screen indicators. This matters in real hunting – less eye fatigue and easier evaluation of distance and terrain for extended sessions.

4) 50 mm objective: 3.7× optical and 2/4/6/8× digital

The scope features a 50 mm objective with 3.7× optical magnification and 2/4/6/8× digital zoom. Field of view is 7°×7° (diagonal 11.2°), equal to 12.3 m @100 m horizontally and vertically. Detection is specified up to 2600 m (depending on conditions and target).

5) LRF version: range directly on the screen

On the LRF version, the rangefinder is integrated and distance is displayed on the screen. The maximum range is listed up to 1000 m / 1200 yd (depending on unit and version). This is critical for unknown distances – a solid base for correction and ballistic use.

6) Hunting ergonomics: side focus, larger buttons, magnetic cap

Pantera eX 640 is designed for speed: side focus with minimal movement, larger concave buttons for glove use, a silent magnetic lens cap, and a flatter high-density knob design that feels closer to a daytime scope.

7) PIP (picture-in-picture): 2× center magnification without losing FOV

PIP shows a 2× magnified central area at the top of the screen while keeping full field of view. It is practical for precise aiming – you see detail in the center without losing context around the target.

8) Ballistic calculator: Auto / Manual + 10 profiles (A–J)

The ballistic calculator works in two modes:

AUTO (ballistic parameters)
  • 10 profiles (A–J) – separate setups for different rifles/ammo.
  • Velocity, Bullet Wt, Bullet BC.
  • Altitude, Temperature.
  • Scope Ht, Zero Range.
  • Reference point – shape & color (9 options).
  • Meter/yard unit selection syncs related parameters.
MANUAL (drop table input)
  • Spacing – enter distance points and Y-deviation (up to 15 entries) for tighter correction.
  • Doubling (magnification), Frozen (freeze image for stable setup).
  • Indicator color – 4 colors (red/white/yellow/green) for visibility, separate from the reticle.
9) Reticle, modes, scenes: adapt instantly to terrain
  • 6 Image Modes: WT-HOT / BK-HOT / H-Light / RD-HOT / IN-HOT / SKY.
  • 3 Scene Modes: City / Forest / Rain.
  • Reticle: 7 styles; colors: 4 (red/white/yellow/green).
  • Status Bar: choose which icons are shown (time, Wi-Fi, gyro, compass, range, scene, mode, etc.).
10) Recording: photos/video + recoil/self-activated + loop

The scope supports MicroSD up to 128 GB. It includes Recoil/Self-activated recording – a loop buffer that, when recoil is detected, automatically saves the relevant clip to the card. There are also settings for Loop time, Audio (microphone) and Date Stamp.

11) Shutter & image maintenance: Auto / Manual / Smart + Blind Pixel Compensation

Shutter mode can be set to Auto, Manual or Smart. The scope also features Blind Pixel Compensation to help maintain a clean image over time.

12) Connectivity & app: Wi-Fi + PardVision2 + USB-C + HDMI

Pantera eX 640 provides Wi-Fi and works with PardVision2, plus USB Type-C and HDMI Output. A phone/tablet can be used as an external viewfinder and for easy file viewing/sharing.

PardVision2 – quick connection
  1. Install PardVision2 from App Store / Google Play.
  2. Enable Wi-Fi on the scope and on your phone.
  3. Connect to the device Wi-Fi (name starts with PARD), password: 12345678.
  4. Open the app and use live view / files / sharing.
13) Power: built-in 21700 + removable 18650 + USB-C

Power is dual: a built-in 21700 for long runtime and a removable 18650 for quick swap. Listed runtime: ≤8 hours depending on use. USB-C external power is also supported.

14) Durability: aluminum alloy, IP67, 6000 J, -30° to +55°C
  • Housing: aluminum alloy.
  • Lens: all-glass multi-coated.
  • IP67 rating.
  • Recoil: up to 6000 J.
  • Operating temp: -30°C to +55°C.
