PARD OCELOT 256 TH-19 combines a sensitive uncooled thermal sensor, a compact aluminum body and a comprehensive set of digital functions. Its 256×192 VOx detector, NETD ≤25 mK thermal sensitivity, 19 mm objective lens and 1024×768 OLED display provide a detailed thermal view when visible light is limited or unavailable.
Measuring just 180 mm in length and weighing approximately 420 g including the battery, this thermal scope provides a streamlined field-ready design. A built-in 32 GB eMMC memory, Wi-Fi, PARD IREA image processing, Hot Track, Picture-in-Picture and recoil-activated recording extend its observation and media capabilities.
The OCELOT 256 is designed for observing thermal contrasts in outdoor environments, including conditions where ordinary daylight optics are of limited use. Instead of depending on visible illumination, thermal imaging detects infrared radiation emitted by objects and converts temperature differences into a viewable image.
Uncooled vanadium oxide thermal sensor with a 12 µm pixel pitch and a 50 Hz frame rate.
Fine temperature differences can be distinguished to help reveal subtle features within the thermal scene.
A high-resolution OLED screen delivers a detailed presentation of the thermal image and on-screen menus.
An aluminum alloy housing with IP67 protection supports operation in demanding weather and field conditions.
Thermal sensitivity equivalent to temperature differences as small as approximately 0.025°C under appropriate measurement conditions.
NETD — Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference describes a thermal sensor's ability to distinguish small temperature differences against its inherent image noise. A lower NETD value generally supports a clearer representation of subtle thermal contrasts.
With NETD ≤25 mK, a 12 µm pixel pitch and a 50 Hz refresh rate, the OCELOT 256 combines sensitive thermal detection with responsive image updates. PARD IREA further processes the thermal image to improve how scene details are presented.
The optical system features a 19 mm objective lens with a multi-coated glass design and 3.2× base magnification. Adjustable focusing from 3 m to infinity allows the image to be refined for a wide range of observation distances.
The optical system starts at 3.2× magnification, offering a magnified thermal view without additional digital enlargement.
Selectable 2×, 4×, 6× and 8× digital zoom settings provide additional enlargement of the displayed thermal image.
9.2° horizontally, 6.9° vertically and 11.5° diagonally for awareness of the observed scene.
The adjustable eyepiece helps match the displayed image to the individual user's eyesight, improving perceived menu and image sharpness.
The specified eye relief is 30 mm. Appropriate positioning and safe mounting clearance are essential when installing the optic.
The OCELOT 256 includes five color palettes that change how temperature differences appear on the OLED screen. They allow the user to choose a visual style appropriate to the scene, while the underlying thermal measurements remain unchanged.
An image-processing preset for built environments containing varied surfaces and thermal backgrounds.
A dedicated processing preset for changing thermal contrast associated with wet and humid conditions.
An image preset for natural environments with vegetation and mixed-temperature backgrounds.
The OCELOT 256 includes 32 GB of internal eMMC storage for photographs and videos. Standard recording does not require a separate microSD memory card.
Integrated eMMC memory holds photographs, videos and recorded content.
Still images are saved in JPG format at a resolution of 1024×768 pixels.
Video recording in MP4 format, complemented by an integrated microphone.
A continuous recording buffer supports automatic saving of a video segment when recoil is detected.
The Recoil-Activated Recording function continuously maintains a 20-second recording loop. When recoil is detected, the relevant video segment is saved to internal memory.
Smart Screen Recording enhances recorded material by incorporating on-screen interface elements and menu information into the saved footage.
Displays an additional enlarged portion of the thermal scene within the main viewing area.
Highlights the hottest areas of the thermal image for quicker visual awareness of temperature differences.
An integrated orientation sensor works alongside the electronic compass.
Quickly enters or leaves standby to reduce unnecessary power consumption.
Updated interface icons and straightforward menu navigation make settings easier to access while the thermal image remains visible.
An integrated mechanical shutter supports thermal sensor calibration and helps maintain consistent image presentation.
Built-in Wi-Fi enables connection to a compatible smartphone for viewing and media-related functions. The USB Type-C connector provides a physical interface and supports external power.
Wireless connection allows a phone to serve as an external display for compatible viewing functions.
Use the PardVision2 mobile application for supported wireless functions and access to recorded content.
USB Type-C supports connection to a compatible external power source.
A replaceable 18650 lithium-ion battery with a nominal voltage of 3.7 V powers the device for up to approximately six hours, depending on operating conditions.
External power can also be supplied through USB Type-C.
Dimensions of 180×65×40 mm and a weight of approximately 420 g including the battery make this a compact thermal imaging system.
Operating temperature range: −30°C to +55°C.
