ATA Arms Venza Cantilever Bronze is a specialised gas-operated semi-automatic smoothbore shotgun for hunters who want a compact 61 cm barrel, a stable mounting base for a red dot sight and the classic feel of genuine walnut. The GPCS system manages excess gas pressure, while the moving barrel assists the initial movement of the bolt and helps reduce muzzle rise.
The larger gas-release valves vent excess pressure faster and support more stable operation during the shot.
When fired, the barrel moves rearward and gives the bolt its initial impulse while activating the release of additional gas pressure.
The combination of GPCS and the moving barrel is designed to reduce felt recoil and muzzle rise during follow-up shots.
Provides a practical mounting base for a suitable red dot sight or another compatible sight with the correct mount.
The 24" length supports quick handling in dynamic hunting situations and denser terrain.
The walnut stock and forend are paired with a Bronze receiver finish for a distinctive premium hunting configuration.
How GPCS works: during the shot, the system combines the use of propellant gases with barrel movement. Additional pressure is vented through the side ports in the forend and the openings in the front cap. The result is intended to be a softer shooting feel, reduced muzzle rise and improved control of the shotgun.
The smooth 61 cm barrel has a fixed cylinder choke and does not use the five-choke set supplied with standard Venza variants.
The fibre-optic front sight and cantilever rail allow the use of the iron sight or a compatible mounted red dot sight.
