ATA Turqua II cal. 30-06, 51 cm (20”) – Adjustable Stock / Adjustable Sights, M14×1 thread is a bolt-action hunting rifle built for shooters who want a classic walnut stock, fast bolt operation and real-world accuracy in a practical barrel length. It belongs to the Turqua line – ATA Arms’ first bolt-action rifle, made in Turkey with a focus on strong steel mechanics and hunter-friendly features.

In 1955, Celal Yollu, the founder of ATA Arms, built his first shotgun at only 13 years old. His craftsmanship, inherited from a carpenter father, and a constant drive to improve, helped shape a brand that is widely known today. Turqua marks a key milestone: ATA’s first Turkish-made bolt-action rifle, designed as a high-value hunting platform.

Turqua uses three locking lugs and a 60° bolt lift. The practical benefit is simple: quicker cycling and easier clearance under optics, especially with lower mounting. It’s a real advantage on driven hunts or whenever you need a fast second shot without losing your position.

The safety is a three-position system that supports real hunting use: locked (for carry), load/unload with the trigger blocked, and fire. This is especially useful when moving through rough terrain or climbing to/from a stand, where safe handling matters.

The rifle features a two-stage trigger with an adjustable pull weight of 0.8–1.6 kg. Two-stage operation helps deliver a more predictable break – important for stand hunting and for shots from less stable positions.

The barrel is free-floating, made from chrome-moly steel, with a matte blued finish, button rifling and an 11° crown. Free-floating helps keep consistent barrel-to-stock spacing, supporting repeatable accuracy across temperature changes and field use. The manufacturer states a 3-shot sub-MOA guarantee at 100 yards with quality factory ammunition.

This configuration combines selected Turkish walnut with an oil finish and an adjustable cheekpiece. The big advantage is comfort with both optics and adjustable iron sights. In dense woods, irons can be the fastest option; for longer distances, optics benefit from correct head alignment thanks to the adjustable cheekpiece.

30-06 Springfield is a classic all-around hunting caliber with broad ammunition options. Paired with a 51 cm (20”) barrel, it offers a strong balance between handling and real effectiveness in the field.

This specific build comes with an M14×1 thread, enabling compatible muzzle devices such as thread adapters, compensators or suppressors (subject to local laws and regulations). It gives you flexibility to tune recoil, balance and setup.
