BERETTA · BRX1 · STRAIGHT-PULL · SYNTHETIC BLACK · ITALY
Beretta BRX1 .308 Win Hunting Rifle – 51 cm, M14×1, Iron Sights

Beretta BRX1 is a modern straight-pull bolt-action hunting rifle combining Italian engineering, a modular design, ambidextrous ergonomics and a precision cold-hammer-forged barrel. This .308 Winchester configuration, with a black synthetic stock and 51 cm barrel, offers a refined and practical choice for hunting and sporting use.

This version is equipped with factory iron sights, an M14×1 threaded muzzle, a 5-round magazine and a three-position safety. Its action is manually operated, not semi-automatic.

Beretta BRX1 – a new approach to the manually operated hunting rifle

Beretta BRX1 .308 Win, 51 cm uses a Straight-Pull bolt system. Instead of rotating the bolt handle as on a conventional turn-bolt rifle, the shooter operates the handle in a straight line. This combines linear handling with the robust mechanical lock-up of a rotating bolt head.

The BRX1 brings together modern engineering and practical hunting requirements: a comfortable black polymer stock, durable receiver, refined trigger assembly and an adaptable design for right- or left-handed users.

The configuration with a 51 cm barrel, factory iron sights and M14×1 muzzle thread is intended for those who appreciate a compact, functional and comprehensively equipped hunting rifle.

Eight key advantages of the BRX1
01 · STRAIGHT-PULL
Linear bolt operation

Manual rearward and forward bolt movement without rotating the handle.

02 · AMBIDEXTROUS
Right- or left-hand configuration

Both the bolt handle position and cartridge-case ejection direction can be configured for the preferred side.

03 · LOCKING SYSTEM
Eight locking lugs

Rotating bolt head with eight locking lugs in .308 Win calibre.

04 · PRECISION BARREL
Cold-hammer-forged barrel

Barrel and chamber shaped by cold forging, with a barrel length of 510 mm.

05 · TRIGGER SYSTEM
Adjustable trigger

Three trigger-weight settings, approximately 950–1,500 g.

06 · THREE-POSITION SAFETY
Three safety positions

Three settings controlling the trigger and the ability to operate the bolt.

07 · IRON SIGHTS
Factory iron sights

High-visibility mechanical sights for use without an additional optical sight.

08 · MUZZLE THREAD
M14×1 threaded muzzle

Factory muzzle threading protected by a thread cap.

Straight-Pull – the technology behind Beretta BRX1
LINEAR RELOADING
Straight-line bolt travel

The bolt is operated manually along a linear path, providing natural handling while retaining the individual control of each cycling operation associated with bolt-action rifles.

ROTATING BOLT HEAD
Multi-lug locking

The rotating bolt head uses eight locking lugs for robust mechanical lock-up. This design combines linear bolt travel with precise engagement of the locking components.

BRX1 was developed and tested as a contemporary hunting platform, with particular attention to durability, mechanical reliability and day-to-day handling comfort.

51 cm cold-hammer-forged barrel – .308 Winchester

The BRX1's barrel and chamber are cold-hammer-forged from a single steel component. This manufacturing process helps achieve consistent geometry and alignment, supporting repeatable performance. In this version, barrel length is 510 mm (20 inches).

The .308 Win barrel features a 1:10″ rifling twist. The barrel with factory iron sights has a 16 mm muzzle diameter. The factory M14×1 thread is protected by a supplied thread cap.

.308 Winchester is a widely used cartridge for hunting and approved sporting disciplines. Ammunition selection must follow the rifle's calibre markings and manufacturer instructions.

Precision backed by a factory sub-MOA standard

Beretta developed the BRX1 with an emphasis on accuracy and consistent barrel positioning. The series features a factory accuracy certificate for a three-shot group below 1 MOA under specified test conditions.

MOA (Minute of Angle) is an angular unit of measurement: 1 MOA is approximately 29 mm at 100 metres. Real-world group sizes depend on ammunition, conditions, optics and shooting technique.

The BRX1's design incorporates precise barrel seating geometry to support consistency during assembly and regular servicing.

Truly ambidextrous ergonomics – right- and left-handed users

One of the BRX1's most distinctive features is its ability to position the bolt handle on either side. The direction of cartridge-case ejection can also be configured independently of the handle location.

This makes the platform adaptable to individual preferences. The black synthetic stock with textured gripping sections provides comfortable contact, while its recoil pad complements the fit at the shoulder.

The stock supports adjustment of LOP (Length of Pull) – the distance from the trigger to the butt – through compatible spacers.

Three-position safety and adjustable trigger
3-POSITION SAFETY
Three distinct settings

The mechanical safety provides a fire position, a setting with the trigger blocked and bolt free to move, and a setting that blocks both trigger and bolt.

ADJUSTABLE TRIGGER
Three trigger-weight settings

Three factory-defined pull-weight settings, approximately 950–1,500 g, allow a choice of trigger feel.

The arrangement of the controls and clear mechanical feedback contribute to the BRX1's purposeful and ergonomic design.

Iron sights, optics mounting and a modular platform

This configuration comes with factory-fitted iron sights, including a high-visibility front sight. The BRX1 platform accepts compatible optics mounting bases, allowing suitable sighting equipment to be selected for individual needs.

The BRX1 is built as a modular system supporting compatible interchangeable barrel and calibre kits. Its barrel attachment geometry is designed for precise seating of the barrel assembly.

The detachable polymer magazine holds 5 rounds, sits close to the stock and has ambidextrous release controls.
