Dulotec Convoy L21A MAX is a dedicated long-range configuration based on the Convoy L21A platform, developed to Dulotec specifications and equipped with an upgraded Gen2 driver, Luminus SFT25R LED, smooth reflector and 21700 Li-ion power system.
Its main advantage is not simply high lumen output, but the concentrated beam designed for long-distance illumination. The SFT25R emitter, large L21A head and smooth reflector create a focused hotspot for security work, outdoor observation, fishing, hiking and demanding field use in low light.
This is not simply a standard Convoy L21A configuration. The L21A MAX version is produced to Dulotec specifications with emphasis on high beam intensity, long-range performance and flexible operation through the programmable Gen2 driver.
The upgraded configuration is designed for stronger beam intensity and extended practical throw.
A compact high-intensity LED used here to generate a powerful and tightly focused central beam.
The reflector geometry is designed around a defined hotspot and efficient long-distance light projection.
The flashlight is powered by one rechargeable 21700 Li-ion battery, included in the package.
A long-range specification achieved under suitable conditions with a strongly defined central hotspot.
Long-range performance is not determined by lumens alone. Central beam intensity, reflector geometry and the size of the LED emitting surface are equally important.
In the L21A MAX, the Luminus SFT25R with 6500K cool-white output works with a large smooth reflector to concentrate light into a narrow and clearly defined hotspot rather than dispersing most of the output around the user.
The MAX configuration is rated at up to 1700 ANSI lumens. With this model, the output figure should be considered together with the optical system – the key advantage is how efficiently the light is concentrated for distance.
Maximum stated output for the specific Dulotec MAX configuration.
Cool-white output designed for clear detail visibility in open terrain.
The smooth reflector is designed to provide high central intensity at distance.
The upgraded Gen2 driver provides 8 programmable mode groups selected through the flashlight switch. This lets the user adapt the behaviour of the L21A MAX without an app or external programming interface.
Different mode combinations allow the flashlight to be configured for different use cases.
According to Dulotec, the flashlight is supplied configured to a single high-output mode for simplified operation.
Mode-group selection is performed directly through the flashlight controls.
During heavy use the driver automatically reduces output to help control excessive heat.
At maximum power the L21A MAX generates substantial heat. Integrated temperature regulation monitors the flashlight and begins reducing output at approximately 65°C.
The highest mode is therefore intended for maximum immediate performance, while sustained brightness depends on ambient temperature, airflow and operating conditions.
A rechargeable 21700 battery is included. No unverified capacity figure is stated for the supplied cell.
The supplied battery is described with protection against short circuit, overcharge, excessive discharge and overheating.
The driver provides low-voltage indication when battery voltage falls to approximately 3 V.
The specific Dulotec MAX configuration is listed with IPX8 water resistance.
Stated impact resistance from drops of up to 1.5 metres.
The underlying Convoy L21A platform uses an aluminium-alloy construction.
The large-head construction also provides useful thermal mass during high-output operation.
The L21A MAX is not designed as a compact EDC flashlight. Its large head is an important part of the long-range optical system, while the substantial body also assists heat dissipation under high load.

A narrow, concentrated beam is useful when the priority is illuminating distant objects rather than flooding the immediate area.
Suitable for security work, fishing, hiking, property inspection and demanding outdoor tasks in low light.
Programmable groups allow the flashlight behaviour to be adapted to the user's preferred operating style.
It uses a Luminus SFT25R LED with 6500K cool-white output.
The stated maximum output is up to 1700 ANSI lumens.
For this product configuration MoskovHunt uses the conservative specification of up to 1400 m. Practical visibility depends on atmospheric conditions and the observed object.
The flashlight uses one rechargeable 21700 Li-ion battery, included in the package.
Yes. The package includes a 21700 battery, charger and lanyard.
The Gen2 driver supports 8 programmable mode groups.
Yes. Output is automatically reduced at high temperature, at approximately 65°C.
The stated runtime is approximately 70–80 minutes, with automatic thermal regulation affecting sustained brightness.
The specific L21A MAX configuration is rated IPX8.
Its main purpose is focused long-range illumination. A flood-oriented flashlight may be more suitable for wide close-range coverage.
Yes. As a flashlight/accessory, it can be ordered online from MoskovHunt when available.
Do not aim the beam directly into the eyes of people or animals. The flashlight head may become hot during extended high-output use. Use only suitable Li-ion batteries and chargers and store batteries so the terminals cannot be accidentally short-circuited.
