Falcon Medusa M1V2.0-650L is a high-end thermal riflescope from the current Medusa V2.0 generation, combining a 640×512 thermal sensor, NETD ≤15 mK sensitivity, a 50 mm objective lens, Full HD OLED display and an integrated laser rangefinder with a range of up to 1200 m.
Falcon also combines a ballistic calculator, 10 profiles, Picture-in-Picture, 32 GB internal memory, Wi-Fi, XVision Pro connectivity, replaceable 18650 power and IP67 protection in a relatively compact housing.
Thermal image quality starts with the sensor. The Medusa M1V2.0-650L uses a 640×512 resolution with a 12 μm pixel pitch, while its NETD ≤15 mK sensitivity helps distinguish smaller temperature differences in challenging thermal conditions.
High thermal resolution for improved reproduction of contours and fine image detail.
12 μm sensor architecture combined with a 50 mm lens and 2.8× base magnification.
NETD ≤15 mK helps reveal subtle temperature differences against complex thermal backgrounds.
Falcon Europe specifies ≤15 mK for the M1V2.0, compared with ≤18 mK for the previous M1-650L.
An optical configuration designed for detailed thermal observation at medium and longer distances.
The Falcon Medusa M1V2.0-650L features a 50 mm F1.0 objective lens and 2.8× base magnification.
The European specification lists a field of view of approximately 8.8° × 7°, while digital magnification offers 1×, 1.5×, 2×, 2.5×, 3×, 4×, 6× and 8× steps.
The stated detection range is over 2500 m.
The European Falcon Medusa M1V2.0-650L specification includes an integrated LRF with a range of up to 1200 m, allowing distance measurement directly through the device.
Integrated ranging according to the current European Falcon specification.
Integrated ballistic functionality designed to work with user-entered parameters.
Storage for up to 10 separate profiles for different user configurations.
The internal 1920×1080 OLED display provides high-contrast reproduction of the thermal image and sufficient resolution to make full use of the 640×512 sensor.
Full HD OLED display for a clear image and precise reproduction of thermal detail.
White Hot, High Light, Black Hot, Low Light, Fusion and Red Hot.
An additional magnified window allows simultaneous viewing of the full scene and a selected area.
The interface offers 10 reticle designs and 5 colour options. Up to 10 separate profiles can be used to organise different user configurations.
Selection of different visual reticle layouts.
Different reticle colours help provide suitable contrast against the selected thermal palette.
Memory for different user settings and configurations.
32 GB of built-in memory for photos and video recordings.
Integrated recording allows thermal footage to be stored directly on the device.
Wi-Fi connectivity for use with the supported mobile application.
Falcon Europe specifies XVision Pro for mobile connectivity with the M1V2.0-650L.
The device uses one replaceable 18650 Li-Ion battery during operation.
The manufacturer states at least approximately 5 hours of operating time depending on conditions and active functions.
The housing is protected against dust and designed for use in demanding outdoor conditions.
Falcon states recoil resistance of up to 10,000 J.
The operating temperature range is −20°C to +50°C, and external power can be supplied via USB-C.
The following steps provide a quick overview of the device's main functions. For full settings and detailed operation, follow the manufacturer manual supplied with the product.
Insert a charged 18650 battery, check its correct orientation and close the battery compartment securely.
Set the dioptre and objective focus until both the interface and observed scene appear clear.
White Hot, Black Hot and the other available modes allow the image to be adapted to different conditions.
The integrated laser rangefinder displays distance to the measured object. Actual ranging performance depends on atmospheric conditions, target size and reflectivity.
Store content in the internal 32 GB memory and use XVision Pro when mobile connectivity is required.
Switch off the device, dry the housing after exposure to moisture and clean optical surfaces only with suitable materials.
The videos provide a practical look at the Falcon Medusa M1V2.0-650L and offer additional context beyond the static technical specifications.
Falcon Europe also lists the previous Medusa M1-650L. One of the clearly stated differences in the current M1V2.0-650L is improved thermal sensitivity: NETD ≤15 mK for V2.0 compared with ≤18 mK for the earlier M1-650L.
M1V2.0-650L is separately identified as the current version within Falcon's European product range.
A lower NETD value means greater sensitivity to small temperature differences.
