HomeDefence Pepper Balls cal. .50 HIGH-DOSIS 15% are pepper powder balls designed for .50 caliber (12.5 mm) platforms. The manufacturer positions them for users who want maximum effect with lawful, intended use.
The filling is a high-dose pepper powder that is released on impact. According to the manufacturer, the goal is a fast irritant effect on eyes, nose and airways when the powder cloud comes into contact.
The manufacturer states compatibility with Umarex, Beeman, Byrna and VESTA PDW.50. There is also an important note for HDR50 / TR50: on first use the balls can sit very tight in the cylinder. The recommendation is to gently “break in” the cylinder (for example by inserting a steel ball first), and never force the pepper balls in, because this may damage them or cause them to burst.
