HQS Hunter Suppressor – cal. 7.62 mm (.30) is a next-generation hunting suppressor, engineered for shooters who demand true sound and recoil reduction, without compromising balance, overall length, or shooting control.
HQS (High Quality Suppressors) is a Bulgarian manufacturer based in the town of Karlovo, located in the heart of the Rose Valley – a region locally nicknamed “Guns and Roses” for its unique blend of rose-oil production and long-standing weapons industry tradition.
HQS is part of BAMX Group, a company with over 20 years of experience in precision metalworking for the military-industrial sector, including artillery and high-stress components.
HQS Hunter is the first suppressor model developed by the brand, released immediately after suppressors were legalized for civilian use in Bulgaria in 2019. It laid the foundation of the entire HQS product line with one clear mission: maximum real-world hunting performance.
HQS Hunter features a true Over-Barrel design, covering part of the rifle barrel. This construction significantly reduces the overall rifle length compared to forward-mounted suppressors.
Despite a total suppressor length of 250 mm, only 154 mm is added to the barrel. The result is noticeably better balance and handling, especially during stalking hunts and in dense terrain.
HQS Hunter uses a single-piece core manufactured from 7075 aluminum, treated with a special nickel coating. This is not a cosmetic finish – it provides measurable advantages:

- Reduced carbon buildup, making cleaning easier
- High thermal resistance during intensive firing
The result is a service life comparable to titanium suppressors, while remaining significantly more affordable.

HQS Hunter is equipped with a mechanically fixed interchangeable thread sleeve, secured with locking screws (not glued). This guarantees perfect concentricity, long-term reliability, and compatibility with multiple rifles.

- Always check for foreign objects before use.
- The suppressor must be fully tightened with no play.
- Remove the suppressor immediately after use due to condensation.
- Do not exceed a firing rate of 6 rounds per minute.
- Allow the suppressor to cool before removal.
- Do not modify or disassemble the suppressor.
Lower recoil means faster target reacquisition. When used with optical or thermal sights, HQS Hunter delivers better stability and improved shot follow-up.
