Marttiini Lapp Knife 230 230010 is a traditional Finnish knife from the Lapp range, designed for hunting, outdoor use, camping, fishing and general work in nature. This model stands out with a finger guard, an 11 cm stainless steel blade, a varnished curly birch handle and a brown leather sheath with secure snap closure.

In traditional Scandinavian knife culture, finger guards are not always part of the classic design, but Marttiini adds one here with a clear practical purpose: more safety during use. This is especially useful in wet or cold conditions, when the grip may become less secure, and also for users who prefer a more protected feeling while working with a knife.

Lapp Knife 230 keeps the traditional Finnish character of Marttiini through its curly birch handle and leather sheath with Lappish themes. The blade and sheath depict traditional motifs from Lapland, while the sheath has a secure snap closure that helps keep the knife stable during carry.

Main advantages

Traditional Finnish Marttiini Lapp knife for hunting, outdoor and general use.

Secure snap closure on the sheath for more stable carry.
Suitable for hunting, fishing, camping, outdoor use and as a gift.

Hunting and outdoor

A reliable fixed blade knife for hunters and outdoor users who want the classic Marttiini look, but with an added finger guard.

Camping and camp work

Suitable for cutting, food preparation and work around a bivouac, tent, cabin or vehicle.

Wet and cold conditions

The finger guard helps the hand stay more controlled when the handle or gloves are wet, cold or less secure.

Gift with Finnish character

Curly birch, leather sheath and traditional Lappish motifs – a strong gift for a hunter, angler or outdoor person.

Who is this model best suited for?

Marttiini Lapp Knife 230 is a very good choice for users who appreciate traditional Finnish knives but want extra safety during use. The finger guard makes it especially logical for more universal use, for less experienced users, or for situations where the knife is used in wet, cold or gloved conditions.
