RA Sport Metal Rest is a stable rifle rest designed for sighting-in, checking optics and controlled bench use.
The model features a steel construction, central screw-type height adjustment, adjustable rubberized feet and padded contact supports designed to protect the firearm's stock surfaces.
When checking an optic or verifying rifle zero, a consistent rifle position is essential. RA Sport Metal Rest provides a stable support platform that helps position the firearm in a more repeatable and convenient way.
The metal frame provides the stability required for use on a firm horizontal surface.
The central screw mechanism allows fine adjustment of the support position.
Three rubberized support feet allow the rest to be stabilised and levelled on the working surface.
Padded contact areas reduce direct contact between the metal frame and the firearm stock.
Practical height adjustment using a large rotary control.
Metal Rest uses a central screw-type mechanism that allows the upper support section to be positioned more precisely.
This makes it easier to align the rifle when checking an optic or carrying out repeated control groups from a stable shooting bench.
With approximate dimensions of 62 × 31.5 cm, the rest weighs around 2.75 kg. This provides a practical balance between stability during use and convenient transport and storage.
Practical working length for positioning a standard rifle on a shooting bench.
The broad footprint contributes to the stability of the structure.
Enough own weight for stability without making the rest unnecessarily difficult to transport.
A stable shooting rest should support the firearm without placing bare metal directly against the stock. The contact areas of the RA Sport Metal Rest are therefore equipped with padded protective elements.
The front contact area supports the fore-end on a softer protective surface.
The second contact area uses a shaped support for stable positioning of the stock.
RA Sport uses padded polyester contact elements between the rest and the firearm.
For stabilising and levelling the rest on the working surface.
The base features three adjustable rubberized feet. Their independent adjustment allows improved levelling on a hard surface.
The rubberized contact areas help improve grip on the bench and reduce unwanted movement of the rest.
RA Sport Metal Rest is designed to provide a stable and convenient rifle support for use from a shooting bench.
The stable support helps maintain a repeatable position during control groups.
Useful when checking and correcting the settings of an optical sight.
The construction is intended for use on a firm and stable horizontal surface.
