The Sightmark Mini Shot M-Spec FMS Dark Earth is a compact reflex sight with a 3 MOA red dot, designed for rapid target acquisition and shooting with both eyes open. Its construction combines a lightweight aluminium-alloy body, a steel protective shield and two fixed mounts for different firearm platforms.
The exact SM26043DE model provides 10 brightness levels, ambidextrous digital controls, motion activation, automatic shutdown after 12 hours, night-vision compatibility and battery life of up to 30,000 hours.
SM26043DE is the Mini Shot M-Spec FMS Dark Earth version. The package includes a fixed low-profile mount and a fixed AR riser mount.
This configuration does not have a quick-detach lever. The quick-detach version is designated separately as LQD and uses a different manufacturer number.

The aiming mark is a precise 3 MOA red dot. This size provides a practical balance between rapid dot acquisition and sufficiently fine aiming at close and medium distances.
Approximately 3 MOA covers about 8.7 cm at 100 m, 4.4 cm at 50 m and 2.2 cm at 25 m. The dot’s apparent size and clarity depend on the selected brightness level, ambient light and the shooter’s eyesight.
The clearly defined centre dot supports rapid transitions between different targets.
The sight does not require a fixed distance between the shooter’s eye and the optical window.
Helps preserve peripheral vision and awareness around the target.
Red-dot brightness is adjusted through digital buttons positioned on both sides of the housing. This allows convenient operation by both right- and left-handed users.
The sight provides 10 brightness levels. Lower settings are intended for low-light conditions and night-vision use, medium settings for cloudy weather and indoor environments, and higher settings for bright daylight.
Intended for low-light conditions and dark indoor environments.
Suitable for normal indoor lighting and cloudy outdoor conditions.
Intended for bright and sunny outdoor conditions.
The sight restores the last-used brightness level when switched on again.
Motion Activation allows the sight to respond to movement and become ready for use without unnecessary manual steps.
The sight switches off automatically after 12 hours to reduce unnecessary battery consumption.
A single compact battery powers the electronics and is replaced through the side battery compartment.
The manufacturer states battery life from 300 to 30,000 hours depending on the selected brightness level.
Two fixed mounts for Weaver/Picatinny rails are included. This allows the Mini Shot M-Spec to be configured according to the firearm type and required sight height.
Suitable for rifles, shotguns and other configurations requiring a low sight line.
Raises the sight for use on flat-top AR platforms and allows absolute co-witness with compatible iron sights.
The sight uses the widely adopted Docter/Noblex footprint. It can therefore be installed on compatible mounting plates and optic-ready pistols when the firearm uses the appropriate footprint or adapter.
This does not mean that the sight mounts directly to every pistol. Some models require a separate adapter plate or specific mounting base, while a standard slide without factory optic preparation may require professional gunsmith installation.
Elevation and windage adjustments provide clear mechanical clicks. One click moves the point of impact by 1 MOA – approximately 29 mm at 100 m, 14.5 mm at 50 m and 7.3 mm at 25 m.
The total adjustment range is 110 MOA for elevation and 110 MOA for windage. Adjustments can be made using a suitable flat-head tool.
The main housing is manufactured from 6061-T6 aluminium alloy, while the optical window is protected by a durable steel shield. This combination limits weight while protecting the most exposed part of the sight during impact and intensive use.
The lens has a fully multi-coated anti-reflective finish and a scratch-resistant protective coating. The sight is shockproof and designed to withstand recoil up to the manufacturer’s stated maximum of .375 H&H.
Lightweight and durable material for the main housing.
Additional protection around the optical window.
Durable construction for hunting, competition and intensive field use.
Maximum stated recoil rating for the FMS version.
The Sightmark Mini Shot M-Spec FMS carries an IP67 protection rating. Its sealed housing is protected against dust and temporary immersion in water to a depth of 1 m for up to 1 hour.
The operating-temperature range is from –30°C to +50°C. The sight is not nitrogen-filled and must not be described as a nitrogen-purged optic.
Sealed housing for use in dusty field environments.
IP67 – immersion in up to 1 m of water for up to 1 hour.
