If you own a PCP airgun, sooner or later you reach the most important thing: convenient and safe air filling. TUXING TXES061 is a compact high-pressure solution that runs on 12V and is designed to reach 300 bar (30 MPa / 4500 psi). This model uses fan cooling, meaning it is not water-cooled — easier to carry and use, without water containers or cooling hoses.

Filling PCP cylinders on air rifles/pistols up to the pressure specified by the airgun manufacturer.

How to use it – simple and in the right order

Most important rule: fill only to the pressure allowed for your PCP system (cylinder/bottle). Do not chase the compressor’s maximum “just in case”.

1) Before you start

Place the compressor on a stable surface and keep the ventilation slots clear.
Check the hose, threads, and seals for damage or missing O-rings.
Make sure you have the correct adapter for your fill port (and the connection tightens smoothly).

2) Connect the hose and your PCP setup

Connect the high-pressure hose to the compressor outlet and tighten firmly without forcing threads.
Connect the other end to your rifle/bottle via the correct adapter.
Before starting, check again: all connections should be straight and secure.

3) 12V power (in the field) – correct clamp order

Red clamp is +, black clamp is -.
Use a stable 12V source (battery/power supply) that can deliver the needed current.
Do not work with loose terminals and never let the clamps touch each other.

4) Filling – monitor and stop in time

Turn on the compressor and watch the gauge.
Let pressure rise smoothly — avoid sudden actions or “rushing” the process.
When you reach your target pressure, switch off the compressor.

5) Finish – bleed pressure from the hose

After switching off, bleed the hose pressure using the bleed valve (if present on your setup).
Only then disconnect the hose/adapter.
Never unscrew fittings under pressure.

Practical tips for safe, calm operation

Cooling: since it’s fan-cooled, keep airflow unobstructed. Do not cover it or run it inside a closed box.
Moisture & cleanliness: moisture is the enemy in PCP filling. If you use a moisture filter, maintain it and change the consumables on time.
Seals: if you hear a hiss, check the O-ring and the tightness first. Most “leaks” are exactly there.
Don’t rush: two shorter sessions with a pause are better than pushing one long run to the limit.
