The Winchester SXR² Stealth THR MG4 is a semi-automatic hunting rifle chambered in .30-06 Springfield, equipped with a 530 mm barrel, factory M14×1 muzzle thread, integrated Picatinny rail and durable green composite stock.
The MG4 configuration combines a gas-operated action, a rotating bolt with seven locking lugs, a detachable magazine with a total capacity of 4+1 rounds and open fibre-optic sights.
The SXR² Stealth combines a semi-automatic mechanism, compact 530 mm barrel and weather-resistant composite furniture. The rifle remains convenient to carry and operate in woodland, dense vegetation and changing weather conditions.
Textured gripping surfaces on the stock and fore-end provide secure handling, while the enlarged bolt handle is easy to operate even when wearing thicker hunting gloves.

The Winchester SXR² uses a gas-operated action. Part of the propellant gases produced by the shot operates the piston and bolt assembly, ejects the fired case and loads the next cartridge from the magazine.
The system is designed for reliable operation with suitable factory ammunition in the correct calibre. The gas mechanism also absorbs part of the firing energy and contributes to more manageable felt recoil.

The Picatinny rail is machined directly into the aluminium receiver. It provides a stable mounting surface for a riflescope, reflex sight or another compatible sighting system.

The barrel measures 530 mm / 21 inches and uses a 1:10-inch twist rate. This length provides a practical balance between handling and the ballistic performance of the .30-06 Springfield cartridge.
The factory M14×1 muzzle thread allows installation of a compatible muzzle brake, sound moderator or another suitable muzzle device designed for the calibre.
The rifle is equipped with a Battue rear rib and a bright fibre-optic front sight. The rifle can therefore also be used without a mounted optical sight.
The front sight can be adjusted for elevation and windage using a 1.5 mm Allen key. Every adjustment should be confirmed by live-fire sighting-in at a safe shooting range.

The stock and fore-end are manufactured from green composite material. The design includes a straighter grip, ambidextrous palm swell and textured surfaces for secure handling.

The rifle uses a fixed hunting trigger. The cross-bolt safety is located behind the trigger and can be reversed according to the preferred direction of operation.
The mechanical configuration is right-handed, while the enlarged bolt handle makes loading and inspection easier.
The MG4 configuration uses a detachable DBM – Drop Box Magazine. The correct capacity is four cartridges in the magazine plus one cartridge in the chamber.
After the final cartridge has been fired, the bolt remains open. This makes visual inspection of the chamber and the condition of the rifle easier.
